Thanksgiving weekend 2009, Tiger Woods gets into an accident.

Thanksgiving weekend 2010, Obama gets 12 stitches.

Coincidence? I don't think so!

MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE THERE'S NO MONEY IN PROFILING??

Instant clarity as soon as you follow the money.

BOO F*CKIN HOO!

For well over a year we've been hearing about all the shenanigans Congressman Charlie Rangel has pulled off. Now it seems that all he's going to get is censure, basically the NYC Democrat will stand before his peers and be orally reprimanded. He's getting a good talking to and that's it.

ALLOW ME TO GIVE YOU TWO WORDS:

DUKE CUNNINGHAM!

Is Cunningham now going to get an early release???

ECON 101 - Businessman & Obama.

A tip of the hat to Mr. Handley!

There are idiots, and then there are complete, f*cking idiots!

In an incredible example of total idiocy, a government debt reduction think-tank (why these people are in a 'Think" tank is beyond me) headed by Alice Rivlin and former Republican Senator Pete Domenici, are proposing "an excise tax on the manufacture and importation of beverages sweetened with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup."
YEP! These clowns are proposing a tax on Coke, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew!
Forget the fact that this is pure poppy-cock and will not reduce the debt, but did it occur to these clowns that all the soft drink manufacturers have to do is ..........................change the formula!
And of course it probably didn't occur to them the negative impact this will have on sugar and corn producing companies. No, of course not!
At times I amaze myself with my brilliance!

NOT GOOD!

Coming home from what can only be described as a completely disasterous Asian tour, one would think the President would come home and analyze the domestic problems, or at least, appear to be "taking notes" and "paying attention"
If nothing else, try to patch-up his decimated Democrat Party. But no! El Presidente is off to Europe!
What I find troubling is the disappearing act Obama has done since his return from Asia. Look at Politico this morning. Where's Obama? Is his disappearing act being orchestrated by his lap-dog media? Is he that toxic? Is he a President in hidding?
Now don't get me wrong, I throughly enjoy the beatdown the Democrats/Obama have taken, but in the eyes of the world, we look weak, clueless, and folks that is not good.

Lose election = call for revolution.

Up until Nov. 2 things were ok in the Progressive world. The agenda was moving forward. Not at lightning speed, but forward just the same. When Nov. 3 rolled around and the Republican sweep was seismic...........it's time for a revolution!

COMPLETELY UNHINGED!

For whatever it's worth, take a look at the rantings of the deranged Progressives.
And conservatives are the hateful ones?!

THE OTHER STORY.

From RED STATE.

Because of the state legislature wins, there will be 18 states subject to reapportionment. The Republicans will control a majority of those — at least ten and maybe a dozen or more. More significantly, a minimum of seventeen state legislative houses have flipped to the Republican Party.

The North Carolina Legislature is Republican for the first time since 1870. Yes, that is Eighteen Seventy.

The Alabama Legislature is Republican for the first time since 1876.

For those saying this is nothing because it is the South, consider these:

The entire Wisconsin and New Hampshire legislatures have flipped to the GOP by wide margins.

The State Houses in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Montana, and Colorado flipped to the GOP.

The Maine and Minnesota Senates flipped to the GOP.

The Texas and Tennessee Houses went from virtually tied to massive Republican gains. The gains in Texas were so big that the Republicans no longer need the Democrats to get state constitutional amendments out of the state legislature.

These gains go all the way down to the municipal level across the nation. That did not happen even in 1994

KNOW THY ENEMY.

With the election now behind us, and with what appears to be a new crop of Republicans heading to Washington, I hope Republicans have learned the lesson of the last 2 years. This administration and Democrats spat in your face and not once reached out or tried to seek consensus. NOT ONCE!
As expected, we are now hearing that Obama/Democrats will move to the center and reach out. DON’T BUY IT!
Obama and these Democrats are ideologues. Hard-core, unbending, unyielding, ideologues.
Don’t believe me. Ok, then take a look at the marching order coming from the left.

"The Republicans have framed the issue as government vs. the people, and people feeling bogged down and oppressed are all too willing to find the easy enemy that has been presented to them. Government, however, is not the reason why budgets are short and times are tough, it's not government that keeps reaching its hand into our pockets by jacking up the prices we pay for the things we need to stay alive, it's not government that cuts our pay and increases our hours. It's business.

Government, in fact, restricts business's ability to take us to the cleaners. As income inequality in our nation (but not in the world) reaches obscene levels seen only before in the 1920s and 1880s, as the new plutocracy consolidates its power over every single walk of American life, government is the only social institution big enough and powerful enough to stand in its way.

What is government? It is the organized representation of the people. In theory and in law, government works for us, for all of us. Its interest is the national interest, elected representatives are expected to represent the interests of their constituents, and national officials are expected to work for the common good. Government is a social enterprise whose only purpose is to make society work better.

What is business? It's only purpose is to maximize the profit returned to shareholders. Most people don't even realize that corporate boards have a fiduciary responsibility, that is a legal obligation, to return the greatest amount of profit possible to the individuals who own stock in the corporation. It's the only reason companies exist: to make a profit.

How do they make their profits? Well, by lowering costs and raising prices. For me, as either a consumer of their products or a worker in their employ, both lowered costs and increased prices have a negative impact on my quality of life.

The Republicans want to cut corporations loose from government regulation, but government is the only thing I have preventing corporations from raping me. Democrats stand for activist government, a government that protects my quality of life and can guarantee solid economic growth.

That's the frame we need, folks. It's us against them, and we need to stand firm."

In the I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW department.....

Did you know that Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona is up for re-election?
Yep, Public Enemy #1 of the Obama administration has a 12% lead over her Dem. opponent.
I guess the MSM "missed"' this race.
I remember several months ago hearing David Axelrod comment about how Obama would not grant FOX an interview because he didn't consider FOX a news organization.
Well, today on the day that will transform the Obama administration, Obama is doing an exclusive interview with one of the most respected news reporters of our time, Ryan Seacrest.
Yes, Ryan Seacrest of American Idol fame!
Upon hearing the news, Mr. Seacrest tweeted all of the 13 to 19 year old that follow him.
"I'm interviewing President @BarackObama and want to ask him YOUR questions, political & otherwise," Seacrest tweeted Monday.
Very impressive ,eh?
