"WASHINGTON — President Obama delivered a strong defense on Friday night of a proposed Muslim community center and mosque near ground zero in Manhattan, using a White House dinner celebrating Ramadan to proclaim that “as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.”

YOU ARE SO FULL OF SH*T, O!!
Nobody is contesting their right to practice their religion. Today, there are over 40 mosques in the city of New York, so don't give me this right to practice religion bullshit! What is being contested is their right or decency to build a mosque at that location.

UPDATE: Last night, the mighty O said:
"I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there. I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding,"
And to that I say: MORE BULLSHIT!
Most of the mosque's foes recognize the legal right to build, and have asked the builders to reconsider. What people are looking for is moral and patriotic leadership.
The signal O sent with his bullshit rhetoric last night wasn't that he had chosen to make a trivial, legal point about the First Amendment. Gee, let's follow the constitution , but only when it's convenient!
O has chosen to make headlines in support of the mosque, and he won't be able to take his words back. All he's done is frustrate some of the people who so eagerly welcomed his words on the mosque issue, further infuriated those on the right, and has peeled away another layer to show those in the "middle' what he's all about.
So now, my question to you Mr. President O: How does one now throw a mosque under the bus?
