IT'S GOOD TO KNOW WHERE THEIR PRIORITIES STAND

When asked about their trip to Copenhagen to lobby for Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics, First lady Michelle Obama vowed Monday to "take no prisoners"
"It's a battle -- we're going to win -- take no prisoners," the first lady said with a smile at a discussion with reporters in the White House State Dining Room....
On the real war front, asked to "define victory in Afghanistan," Barack Obama said:
I'm always worried about using the word "victory" because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur.

As if these comments aren't worrisome enough, I have to note that Emperor Hirohito didn't "come down" and surrendered to MacArthur, he sent Foreign Minister Mamoru Shigemitsu. Then again, as a Community Organizer I don't expect Obama to 'be up on history'
Oh, and by the way, is there any doubt whatsoever that there are a lot of friends in Chicago waiting to make a bunch of C H A N G E off of the Olympics?
Would the two Community Organizers be traveling to Copenhagen if Seattle or Dallas were bidding instead of Chicago?

UPDATE: And then there's THIS

IRAN DEVELOPING ANOTHER URANIUM ENRICHING FACILITY. R EALLY?

President Obama and the leaders of France and Britain blasted Iran's construction of a previously unacknowledged uranium enrichment facility and demanded Friday that Tehran immediately fulfill its obligations under international law or risk the imposition of harsh new sanctions.

"Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow," Obama said, detailing how the facility near Qom had been under construction for years without being disclosed, as required, to the International Atomic Energy Agency. "International law is not an empty promise."

PFFFFFT!!!! Did he say, Iran is breaking rules??

Is this guy serious?

How long have we been hearing about Iran enriching uranium, and what has anyone done about it? NOTHING! Now every leader of the free world is acting shocked and outraged at this, and are calling for an investigation and maybe some sanctions. Yeah, that will put an end to Iran's nuclear projects.

Unfortunately, the only solution to all this rests with Israel who is in the cross hairs of an Iranian nuclear devise. Will Obama give Israel the "green light' to after the Iranian facilities? If you're Israel do you believe a word he says? Can Israel depend on the US to defend any actions Israel might take? Would you?

Here is what Obama had to say. *yawn*

Addressing suggestions that recent criticism of his health care reform efforts has been grounded in racism, President Obama quipped, "I think it's important to realize that I was actually black before the election."

Now that's exactly what one does when trying to steer away from any racial comments or bringing race into the discussion. YOU BRING UP RACE!

OBAMA TELLS POLES AND CZECKS: SCREW U !!

Poles and Czechs voiced deep concern Friday at President Barack Obama's decision to scrap a missile defense shield planned for their countries.

Polish President Lech Kaczynski said he was concerned that Obama's new strategy leaves Poland in a dangerous "gray zone" between Western Europe and the old Soviet sphere.

Recent events in the region have rattled nerves throughout central and eastern Europe, a region controlled by Moscow during the Cold War, including the war last summer between Russia and Georgia and ongoing efforts by Russia to regain influence in Ukraine. A Russian cutoff of gas to Ukraine last winter left many Europeans without heat.

The scraped plan would have been "a major step in preventing various disturbing trends in our region of the world," Kaczynski said.

But that's ok, no need to worry. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said he still sees a chance for Poles and Czechs to participate in the redesigned missile defense system.

See! the Obama administration is going to redesign a new missile system. You guys have nothing to worry about.

POLITICAL DISSENT = RACISM

In this past election a lot of people that voted for Obama did so as a sign that our country was moving away from racism. I'm not sure I buy that line of thinking, but I'll accept it.
Now it is clearly obvious that ANY criticism of Obama is labeled by the LibDems as racist.
If a demonstration takes place criticizing Obama or his policies, the gathering we are told..... has racial undertones.
If a radio/TV show host bashes Obama, we are told that the host's comments are racially motivated.
When Clarence Thomas was getting crucified by LibDems, did conservatives shout RACISM? No. When Richard Steele is mocked by the MSM, do conservatives shout RACISM? No.
Commenting on the Joe Wilson incident, Jimmy Carter said: ''I think it's based on racism,'' Carter said. ''There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president.''
Sure Jimmy, except for the fact that the ones playing the race card are Democrats beginning with The Community Organizer in Chief.
Who was it that attacked Bill Clinton with racism during the primaries?
Who attacked Geraldine Ferraro with racism?
Who took a racist shot at Hillary?
Bottom line is that when ever you hear the words bigot, sexist, homophobes it's coming from LibDem lips. Racist is just the latest fashionable word in the LibDem arsenal.
Oh, and by the way, I'm still waiting for a LibDem to explain Sen. Robert Byrd to me.

WHAT A GREAT WAY OF TURNING A NEGATIVE INTO A POSITIVE.

Joe Wilson has been painted by the LibDems and the MSM as some unhinged nut. If you've watched him lately, he's obviously not.
Personally, I don't agree with what he did, but I understand his passion and the outburst.
I kinda like the guy!

UPDATE: In a world-class moment of manufactured outrage, The House has passed a resolution of disapproval of Wilson's action.

On a largely party-line vote, the House voted 240 to 179 to ratify a “resolution of disapproval” against Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) for interrupting Obama’s speech last week before a joint session of Congress. Just 12 Democrats opposed the resolution against Wilson, while seven Republicans supported the disapproval motion. Five Democrats voted “present,” rather than cast a yes or no vote.

During the hour-long debate, Wilson refused to apologize, saying his private phone call to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was sufficient because Obama himself said the matter was closed the day after his speech.

“It is clear to the American people that there are far more important issues than what we are dealing with now. . . . [Obama] graciously accepted my apology, and this issue is over,” Wilson said in brief remarks.

From THE HILL

"Earlier this year, GOP leaders sent a letter to the president in May stating that they would like to work with the administration to find "common ground" on healthcare reform.

But the administration responded with a tersely worded letter indicating that they had healthcare reform under control."

Is anyone surprised that Obama has had no contact with Republicans on Health Care since April? I'm not.
First off, Obama, as always, is leading from the rear on Nationalized Health Care.
The ones that are doing the heavy lifting for him are the House & Senate Lib/Dems. They are the ones taking all the heat while Obama sits in the White House, or Martha's Vineyard, or Camp David waiting to see what direction to take.
Tonight Obama will give the majority of Americans a big F*CK YOU. He will take a full-tilt approach on the Government Option. Obama has nothing to lose by going for it all because if he fails he can always come back, over, and over again, and fight another day.
Will I be watching the Community Organizer in Chief tonight? Of course not! I know what he's going to say and.......................................... the US Open is on.

UPDATE: Today, The Community Organizer in Chief said:
"I'm open to new ideas," the president said in an interview Wednesday in which he previewed the themes of his speech. "We're not being rigid and ideological about this thing."
No, of course not!

RACIAL MY ASS!

Talking heads are all in a tizzy about today's public school address by Pres. Obama. Many are even saying that the opposition to it is racially motivated. Racially motivated?? Really?
What if the guy in the picture was making the address??? Would there be any controversy??
No, the opposition is not about race. It's about the track-record and baggage the speaker carries.

PARENTS OVERREACTING?

I'm driving to work early this morning, and the talk show I'm listening to is going on and on about parents overreacting to the President's 'talk' with public school kids this Tuesday.
The host commented about how the 'talk' will be positive and uplifting for the students, and parents are just plain jumping to conclusions by thinking this is going to be some type of national indoctrination. On the surface I tend to agree....................but then I give it some thought.
If one takes a look at public education over the last 30 years, it's easy to see that standards and academic achievements are in the toilet. It also can't be argued that private schools and home-schooling has flourished because of the total failure of public schools.
People can argue the reasons for this failure, but what can't be argued is that public schools have been the petri-dish of LiberalDemocrats and their social engineering experiments.
From banning prayer and the pledge of allegiance to making the now failed outcome-based education the ideal for years, public schools/unions have successfully clawed at the conservative fabric of American society.
For years we have been told that more money and more teachers are the solutions to the problems. But anyone that looks at the statistics sees that only 50 % of public school employees are teachers, funding per pupil has increased by over 220% in the last 25 years while public school academic scores continue to drop. Is it a wonder that parents have become skeptical about public education???
So now, after all of the failed programs, the continued lies, the blatant deceit, the President, the high-priest of everything LIBERAL, the epitome of a political animal, want to directly address all public school children. And you wonder why parents are rebelling???
What has happened here is that is the blink of an eye, parent have suddenly come to realized that public schooling AIN'T LOCAL. The PTA has been cast aside, and Mrs. Smith, Joey's 4rth grade teacher has been usurped by the COMMUNITY ORGANIZER IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
The America people are tolerant, trusting , and patient, but this time, much like a mother bear protecting her cubs..........................enough is enough.

When Chris Matthews wasn't 'in the tank' for Obama, here is what he had to say.

CHRIS, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY?????

September 8, 2009

On September 8, Pres. Obama is going to address all public school children of America. The President will be piped-in to every single public school classroom and auditorium. Below are the 'talking points' that public school teachers (K-6) are being given in order to prepare the children for this event.

President Obama’s Address to Students Across America September 8, 2009 -

Part of me tells me that maybe the address will be about encouraging hard work, dedication, and the importance of education. If that is the message, then I applaud the President. But do we need a Presidential address for that?
The other part of me feels this is creepy. We have all heard about Obama's plans for national volunteers and his failed attempt to snitch on people opposed to his health-care program.
In the past we've witnessed dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Mao, and Castro create 'youth movements' that served to indoctrinate the youth and silence opposing adults/parents. It happened, and it was effective.
Were I a parent, I would seriously consider keeping my child out of school on September 8 unless I had full prior knowledge of what the Presidential address was going to be about. I don't think I'm the only one thinking about that.
I don't subscribe to making Bush/Obama comparisons, but if this was Bush, thousands of public school/union teachers across the country would be proudly proclaiming how they were refusing the call to indoctrinate their students to the ravings of awful George Bush.
Think about it.

SOMEWHERE TONY SOPRANO IS SMILING

Ask Tony Soprano how the construction business is, and he'd probably say: "NOT TOO BAD, AND IT'S GONNA GET BETTA"

There has not been a lot of coverage of this. It happened back in July and is only now winding its way through the federal system.

Barack Obama and his administration are about to significantly drive up the costs of federal building construction. In an incredible reach of power, The Office of Management and Budget has directed that any federal construction over $25 million benefit unions.

The order would make all federal construction projects 10-20% more expensive by requiring all contractors to either use union workers and work rules to their employees. Contractors would also be required to make contributions to union pension funds and other union programs that non-union workers will never benefit from.

This will hugely drive up the cost of construction of federal buildings and line the pockets of unions without even having union workers involved in the projects. Statistics shows that only 15.6% of private construction workers in America belong to unions. In other words, 8 out of 10 construction workers in America will be legally denied the right to work on federal building projects.

Just what the doctor ordered in a down economy.
While speaking at the CIA this past April, Pres. Obama said:

There is nothing more important than protecting the identities of CIA officers. So I need everybody to be clear: We will protect your identities and your security as you vigorously pursue your missions.

This was brought on by the Valerie Plame incident, and it seemed like the President was mending fences with the CIA while making perfect sense about the importance of keeping CIA identities secret.
WRONG!!!!!!
It now appears that with the upcomming Dept. of Justice investigation, a whole lot of names of CIA personnel are going to become public.
Last year, for instance, the New York Times published the name of a CIA officer who interrogated 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. This was despite the protests of the officer and the CIA that to identify him would "put him at risk of retaliation from terrorists or harassment from critics of the agency," Where was the uproar from the privacy advocates??
Last Friday, the Washington Post reported that the Justice Department is looking into allegations that military defense attorneys for top al Qaeda detainees had shown their clients photographs of CIA officers and contractors.
The pictures, some of which were "taken surreptitiously outside [the CIA officers'] homes," were gathered by an outfit called the John Adams Project. The Project seeks to identify the interrogators to serve as witnesses if and when their clients are tried in federal court or by military commissions. "We are confident that no laws or regulations have been broken," ACLU executive director Anthony Romero told the Post.
WHAT!!!!!! No laws or regulations were broken? Go ask Scooter Libby.
Please Mr. President, go ahead and start investigating and prosecuting folks at the CIA for only doing their job of keeping Americans safe. That should play well in Peoria.
