Obama is now a neocon.

In his Noble Peace Price acceptance speech, Obama said.
“Whatever mistakes we have made, the plain fact is this,” Mr. Obama said. “The United States of America has helped underwrite global security for more than six decades with the blood of our citizens and the strength of our arms.”
Surprisingly, there was no mention of peace through superior fire-power.

At yesterday’s summit, Obama lamented the lack of job creation: “There’s a lot of money on the sidelines in the private sector. They are still nervous about whether they want to go ahead and take the risks that are inherent in a free market system.”

WRONG, IDIOT! Businesses aren’t nervous about “the risks that are inherent in a free market system,” they are nervous about the risks inherent in a government dominated economy, and the complete financial irresponsibility coming from Washington!

JOB SUMMIT = NOTHING BUT EYEWASH.

The JOB SUMMIT was held yesterday in Washington.
We are told that Obama brought together the smartest and brightest to 'talk' about job creation.
I must applaud the President for doing this because he obviously knows nothing about business and especially creating jobs.
Anyway, I took a look at the list of the people invited and imagine my surprise when I saw the names of some of America's great job creators.
Here is a sampling of the folks that are giving the President advise..........ON JOB CREATION.

OBAMA TOOK A NICE TRIP TO CHINA.

Richard A. Grenell Former Spokesman to 4 US Ambassadors to the UN :

The White House has asserted that our relationship with China is at "an all time high" after Obama's visit to Asia. It's clear now that we have a White House and a President that measures success in terms of popularity. It may be true that the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has "an all time high" approval rating from the Chinese and the Russians and the Iranians, but it isn't because our relationship with those countries is at "an all time high".

The White House went to China with a 71 car motorcade, hundreds of staffers that had never been to Asia and a flying party on Air Force One. Reporters on the trip have silently told their friends that they are having a great time with lots of shopping time and wonderful dinners. The problem with this expensive taxpayer funded travelogue for the White House is that by not pressing China on the issue of Iran or building support for the Proliferation Security Initiative with Japan, South Korea and China they are sending the message that these issues are not that important to us. Why not press the Chinese to stop the North Korean march toward nuclear weapons?

A basic rule of international diplomacy is that when you show up for an official visit you have to also ask for something in return. I am beginning to see a pattern with this White House - one in which they know how to socialize but not how to negotiate.

When one hears the word UNIONS one usually pictures a steel worker in Pittsburgh, a truck driver on an interstate, or a coal miner in W. Virginia, right? WRONG!
Today, union membership has fallen to 7.3%of all private sector workers. But it is a completely different story in the public sector: 37.6% of government employees belong to unions.
Those 7.9 million unionized government employees make up 51% of all union members nationwide. Most union members today now work for.................. Uncle Sam.

Last year the Service Employee International Union (SEIU) spent 60.7 million dollars of employee union dues to elect Obama, that is why when the White House released it's official visitors list, the #1 visitor to the White House was none other than Andrew Stern who just happens to be President of..................................Service Employee International Union (SEIU)
Keep that in the back of your head when you hear Obama talk about job growth.
Job growth to Obama is government job growth, union government job growth, which is nothing but a huge money spigot to Obama/LibDemocrat coffers.

Uncle Jimbo at BlackFive nails the entire Obama/Afghanistan house of cards.

If this is true then just about all the worst fears we had about Obama as Commander in Chief are coming true.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

He has already had the advice of his entire military chain of command with a near unanimous call for for reinforcements to move to the strategy that won in Iraq. We have watched as he has heard from the deep wisdom of Joe Biden and Rahm Emanuel. We have seen him dither and quibble and show a completely ineffectual and uncommitted face to our enemies and the rest of the world. Now months after his hand-picked commander has told him the situation is bad and getting worse, our troops in the field fight and die without the support of their Commander in Chief. He sent 21,000 more brave men and women there and now they are flappin' in the breeze. How can a squad leader look his men in the eyes and tell them to saddle up and head out on a patrol, perhaps to be the last to die for a cause their President no longer believes in?

You can't set the circumstances for victory before you commit to trying to win one. You can't set your strategy based on the hope that quality government will just spring up in the midst of chaos with no security. You can't just magic a functional, fighting Afghan Army out of nothing without competent US forces to first beat the insurgency down to a manageable level. Then they take the Afghans to the field for joint operations to build their confidence just like we did in Iraq. If your goal is simply to turn things over to the Afghans, then hand them the goddamn keys right now. Make a couple of passes over the worst Taliban strongholds, bomb the living shit out of them and then bring our troops home.

Whatever decision you end up making, you have shown a complete lack of leadership ability. You have made the job of our military more difficult everywhere as our enemies have seen you are not the strong horse. This entire process reeks of politics and the hands of your slimy Chicago fixers Emanuel and Axelrod. Why do I think you are looking for someone to hand you a plan that lets you start retreating before your 2012 elections and an appointment with your left wing? Well the rest of us get to vote as well sir, and we are watching your every back sliding step. America doesn't go to war based on an exit strategy, we go to win. Think about that. Also think about just how wrong you were about Iraq, over and over and over. Go in to win or bring them home now.

Make the call!

Who is believing the pile of crap this fool is shoveling?

Did he say "we've cut taxes"?? On whom?

Saved a million jobs? How did he do that, and what jobs were specifically saved?? More Obama bullshit!

Did he say "we've had job growth"? The only jobs that have been created have been either temporary of more government bureaucracy jobs. Hey idiot! The private sector isn't hiring.

Did he say that "companies have not been willing to hire"? NO SHIT MensaBoy! Who in their right mind can even consider expanding with you and your cronies continuing to crush the economy?

A JOB GROWTH SUMMIT where he's going to listen to everyone. WHAAAAA HA HA!!!!
Spoken like a true Community Organizer!!! Let's get together and talk. Let's chat and pat ourselves on the back and announce that everything is fine.

This guy doesn't know the first thing about private sector job creation, and I doubt he even gives a $hit.

THE ONLY VOICE OF REASON AT CNN IS LEAVING.

For the last couple of years, Dobbs has been very outspoken on issues that are 'touchy' to the lefties at CNN.
From illegal immigration, the government takeover of industries, and health-care reform, Dobbs has been the only reasonable, and moderate voice at the once proud news network...........and now he's leaving.
Congratulations Mr. Dobbs, it's about time.

During an exclusive interview with ABC News, President Obama said that penalties are appropriate for people who try to “free ride” the health care system but stopped short of endorsing the threat of jail time for those who refuse to pay a fine for not having insurance.

“What I think is appropriate is that in the same way that everybody has to get auto insurance and if you don't, you're subject to some penalty, that in this situation, if you have the ability to buy insurance, it's affordable and you choose not to do so, forcing you and me and everybody else to subsidize you, you know, there's a thousand dollar hidden tax that families all across America are -- are burdened by because of the fact that people don't have health insurance, you know, there's nothing wrong with a penalty.”

Eh Mr President, may I remind you that not everyone has to have auto insurance. Millions of people don't even own cars! What an idiot!

TRANSPARENCY MY ASS!!!

Speaker Nancy Pelosi will not allow the final language of the health care to be posted online for 72 hours before bringing the bill to a vote on the House floor, despite her September 24 statement that she was "absolutely" committed to doing so.

On September 24, Speaker Nancy Pelosi told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that she was "absolutely" committed to putting the text of the final House bill online for 72 hours before the House votes:

TWS: Madam Speaker, do you support the measure to put the final House bill online for 72 hours before it's voted on at the very end?

PELOSI: Absolutely. Without question.

But now, when asked if Speaker Pelosi will leave the bill online for 72 hours after we see what's in the rule, Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly replied in an email: "No; [the] pledge was to have manager’s amendment online for 72 hours, and we will do that."

Apparently Pelosi's agreement to leave the "final" bill online "at the very end" of the process wasn't such a straightforward pledge.

MY THEORY

There's been a lot of chatter about Obama losing weight and the cause of it.
Some are saying that he's skipping meals. I doubt it.
Others are saying that he's back to chain smoking. Could be.
My theory is that any time a person gets a real job right after graduation, the pressure from the new-found responsibilities will have an impact.

Obama Cuts Pro-Democracy Funds for Iran

Wednesday, October 14, 2009 7:34 PM
By: Kenneth R. Timmerman

The Obama administration has cut funding for pro-democracy and human rights programs in Iran, reversing years of efforts during the Bush administration to help develop a civil society, congressional sources told Newsmax this week.

The move is apparently intended to please Iran’s rulers after they criticized President Obama and the State Department for allegedly seeking to fund a “velvet revolution” during the June presidential elections in Iran.

“It sounds like the Iranians complained in Geneva and we acceded to their demands,” a former senior government official familiar with the pro-democracy programs told Newsmax.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (AP) - Standing at the site of a highway project funded by his economic stimulus plan, President Barack Obama said Wednesday he is committed to exploring all avenues to create jobs.

First off, government doesn't create jobs, government has to create an environment that is fertile for job creation........in the private sector. This of course, is a foreign subject for Obama.

If you want to create jobs, you need the following:

1. A positive economic outlook: Right now the Obama policies are not creating that. You have a weakening dollar and gold at an all time high. Have those 2 thing occurred by themselves? No. And those are not positive signs for the US economy.

2. Less government regulation: Ask any businessman, from any walk of life, if business-chocking regulations are worse today than they were 5 years ago, and you will hear a resounding YES!

3. Reduce cost of labor: From rising minimum wages to mandated employee benefits, wages/costs in many sectors are artificially high due to government regulations. On top of that, you throw-in the pro-labor/unions policies this administration is implementing, and you have more rising costs on the horizon. Again, not good for business.

4. Less uncertainty: Talk to any businessman and ask them what they foresee in the next 6 months, and not one can give you a clear picture. They just don't know what new anti-business scheme is going to come out of Washington.
Ask any businessman, large or small, if they believe they have a friend in The White House?

From out of control deficits, runaway government spending, and looming higher taxes, we have an administration that is constantly attacking business and raising the specter of more government intervention and regulations. Is that good for business and job creation? I don't think so!

THIS SOUNDS EQUITABLE, NO???

Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads.

The plan, which Fox News has learned was agreed to in principle during negotiations, would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said publicly Tuesday that the two nations have made "considerable" progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty.

The 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires in December and negotiators have been racing to reach agreement on a successor.

Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible.

"We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered," she said, calling missile defense "another area for deep cooperation between our countries."

On another critical issue, Lavrov declared that it would be counterproductive to threaten Iran with more sanctions over its nuclear program -- as he resisted efforts by Clinton to win agreement for tougher measures should Iran fail to prove its program is peaceful.

2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

The following were nominees for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize:

Sima Samar: Women’s rights activist in Afghanistan: “With dogged persistence and at great personal risk, she kept her schools and clinics open in Afghanistan even during the most repressive days of the Taliban regime, whose laws prohibited the education of girls past the age of eight. When the Taliban fell, Samar returned to Kabul and accepted the post of Minister for Women’s Affairs.”

Ingrid Betancourt: French-Colombian ex-hostage held for six years.

Dr. Denis Mukwege: Doctor, founder and head of Panzi Hospital in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. He has dedicated his life to helping Congolese women and girls who are victims of gang rape and brutal sexual violence.”

Handicap International and Cluster Munition Coalition: “These organizations are recognized for their consistently serious efforts to clean up cluster bombs, also known as land mines. Innocent civilians are regularly killed worldwide because the unseen bombs explode when stepped upon.”

Hu Jia: Human rights activist and an outspoken critic of the Chinese government, who was sentenced last year to a three-and-a-half-year prison term for ‘inciting subversion of state power.’”

Wei Jingsheng: Spent 17 years in Chinese prisons for urging reforms of China’s communist system. He now lives in the United States.”

AND THE WINNER IS!!!!!
