WOOOOPS!
In November of last year, The Obama administration made a decision based on pure emotion, and now when reality hits them in the face they have to backpedal and do their best imitation of the Keystone Cops.
If they can't get something as simple as this right, HOW CAN WE EXPECT THEM TO GET ANYTHING RIGHT???

THEY JUST DON'T GET IT!
The party-line 60-40 vote was successful only because Republican Sen.-elect Scott Brown has yet to be seated. Sixty votes were required to approve the increase. The measure would lift the debt ceiling to $14.3 trillion. That's about $45,000 for every American.
A NEW TONE INDEED!
Anyone in the South knows that "With all deference" is the same thing as saying "bless his heart" when you're getting ready to trash someone.
Take a look at Sonia Sotomayor, who dissented, and tell me she doesn't look uncomfortable.
Take a look at Justice Ginsburg.
Take a look at the lady (a page) at the right side of the screen looking at the justices, and you can see the dismay in her face while searching for a reaction from the Judges.
And from Prof. Randy Barnett:
In the history of the State of the Union has any President ever called out the Supreme Court by name, and egged on the Congress to jeer a Supreme Court decision, while the Justices were seated politely before him surrounded by hundreds [of] Congressmen? To call upon the Congress to countermand (somehow) by statute a constitutional decision, indeed a decision applying the First Amendment? What can this possibly accomplish besides alienating Justice Kennedy who wrote the opinion being attacked. Contrary to what we heard during the last administration, the Court may certainly be the object of presidential criticism without posing any threat to its independence. But this was a truly shocking lack of decorum and disrespect towards the Supreme Court for which an apology is in order. A new tone indeed.
I have never, ever seen one man accuse so many of so much for which he himself is responsible. No class, no self-awareness, and zero ideas.
How's that Obama vote working out for you?

Nah, it's not about him.
This reminds me of an athlete signing a multi-million dollar contract and saying "it's not about the money"
Then again, it's probably too much to expect a community organizer to get exited about the...............................cosmos.

Just over a year ago, Obama spoke those words at his inauguration.
Yesterday, following the Supreme Court decision on free-speech, he says that he needs "to develop a forceful response to this decision. The public interest requires nothing less."
Do we need to be reminded that this guy was a law professor, actually a senior lecturer, at the University of Chicago Law School for 12 freakin years.
How can a 'law professor' oppose a Supreme Court decision on a matter of simple constitutional law, and not respect the Court's authority, and most important, not honor that little thing called......................separation of powers?
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE, and why aren't constitutional scholars screaming from the rooftops!!!

Another brilliant idea from the Obama administration.
Federal immigration officials predict that up to 200,000 Haitians could apply for Temporary Protected Status, which would keep them from being deported. Applications will be accepted starting Thursday.
So let me get this straight. We are looking at 13% unemployment, and now the Obama administration is going to let 200,000 Haitians into the US to find work. And what kind of work are they going to find? Are these Haitians doctors, engineers, skilled laborers, nurses, or accountants? What are they? And if they have some kind of skill, shouldn't they be in Haiti rebuilding the place???
UPDATE: 1-21-2010 12:45 pm
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A surprising jump in first-time claims for unemployment aid sent a painful reminder Thursday that jobs remain scarce six months into the economic recovery.
The surge in last week's claims deflated hopes among some analysts that the economy would produce a net gain in jobs in January and help fuel the recovery.

From Mort Zuckerman, a big Obama supporter.
He’s misjudged the character of the country in his whole approach. There’s the saying, “It’s the economy, stupid.” He didn’t get it. He was determined somehow or other to adopt a whole new agenda. He didn’t address the main issue.
This health-care plan is going to be a fiscal disaster for the country. Most of the country wanted to deal with costs, not expansion of coverage. This is going to raise costs dramatically.
In the campaign, he said he would change politics as usual. He did change them. It’s now worse than it was. I’ve now seen the kind of buying off of politicians that I’ve never seen before. It’s politically corrupt and it’s starting at the top. It’s revolting.

IF THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD-UP, CHANGE THE MATH!
Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orzag has decided to change the way the Obama administration counts the number of jobs saved or created under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, otherwise known as the economic stimulus package. Instead of determining whether jobs are saved or created, the Obama administration will count “jobs funded.” Apparently, determining whether or not the government spending boondoggle is stimulating job creation is too much of a hassle.Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican, states it best:
"The Administration appears to be revising its criteria to embrace and tout claims about jobs it knows it didn't create or save," he said in a statement. "Their new definition is, 'if we spend taxpayer money, we're successful.'"

HE'S AFTER ALL OF YOUR MONEY!

So, they want to take retirement funds, which are invested in the stock market, and turn them into a government held instrument.
A. Taking money out of the free-market will help the economy??? YEAH RIGHT!
B. This government run instrument will pay what?? 2% 3%
C. If investors want to invest in the government, they can buy bonds or T-Bills.
BOTTOM LINE: THEY WANT ALL YOUR MONEY!!!

CLOWARD PIVEN STRATEGY
First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.READ MORE

LAZY AMERICANS.
Oh, that's ok! We'll just throw money at public education. PFFFFFT!

WOW! AN HONEST LIBERAL!
“What we are buying here is a modest home, not a mansion. What we are getting here is a starter home. It’s got a good foundation: 30 million Americans are covered. It’s got a good roof: A lot of protections from abuses by insurance companies. It’s got a lot of nice stuff in there for prevention and wellness. But, we can build additions as we go along in the future. It is a starter home. Think about it in that way,”
Oh, and just to be crystal clear, he followed-up with this:
“At some point in the near future, and I don’t know exactly how long it is going to be, we are going to have some sort of a public option out there. We might not get it in this bill, but it will come in as the years go by"

THE IDIOT IN CHIEF HAS MORE GREAT IDEAS FOR US.

Speaking at a Home Depot in Northern Virginia, President Barack 'The Moron' Obama had this to say:
"From the moment we took office … we began investing in newer, stronger foundations for lasting growth. One that would free us from the cycle of boom and bust that has been so painful. One that would create good jobs and opportunities for a growing middle class," Obama said. "Clean energy can be a powerful engine for that kind of growth."
What "stronger foundations for lasting growth"?? What is this idiot talking about??
“I just received a report from Vice President Biden that confirms that as a result of the steps that we’ve taken, a major transformation of our economy is well under way. We are on track to double renewable energy production … by the year 2012.”
A "major transformation of our economy"??? The major transformation is the 17% unemployment you've created! IDIOT!
"The simple act of retro-fitting”" - installing new windows, doors, cooling and heating equipment, etc. - "is one of the fastest, easiest and cheapest things we can do to put Americans back to work while saving money and reducing harmful emissions,"
Hey moron! Don't you know that most construction products including heating and cooling equipment is manufactured abroad!!!
Amazing!!! Caulking windows and doors is going to put Americans back to work??
WHAT A FREAKIN MORON!

Obama is now a neocon.
“Whatever mistakes we have made, the plain fact is this,” Mr. Obama said. “The United States of America has helped underwrite global security for more than six decades with the blood of our citizens and the strength of our arms.”
Surprisingly, there was no mention of peace through superior fire-power.
