Forget me. Here's what they (his buddies) are saying.

Keith Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."
Chris Matthews: "I don't sense executive command."
Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."
Keith Olbermann: "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days."

What were these guys expecting!? ObamaMoses to part the Gulf, walk down 5,000 feet and put a cork in it? Are these guys so under the Obama-Ether they can't come to grips with the fact that Obama is a fraudulent, two-bit, scam artist?

Here is the text of the speech.
I took special note of the following:

As we recover from this recession, the transition to clean energy has the potential to grow our economy and create millions of jobs -– but only if we accelerate that transition. Only if we seize the moment. And only if we rally together and act as one nation –- workers and entrepreneurs; scientists and citizens; the public and private sectors.

The "we" he speaks of is GOVERNMENT. There is all this opportunity, but capitalism and the free-enterprise system just can't take advantage of it. Government is the miracle cure and salvation to our energy problems. What rubbish!

"A few months ago, I approved a proposal to consider new, limited offshore drilling under the assurance that it would be absolutely safe"

And I was told about the Easter Bunny and Santa.

I didn't see the speech, I only read the text, but this was a speech on the same level of a state assemblyman from the state of Illinois.
