VIENNA — Iran has amassed more than two tons of enriched uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Monday in a report that heightened Western concerns about the country preparing to produce a nuclear weapon.

Two tons of uranium would suffice for two nuclear warheads, although Iran says it does not want weapons and is only pursuing civilian nuclear energy.

Oh, it's for civilian use! Eh, no need to worry, right?

I am curious how the liberals are going to blame Bush when Iran uses those nukes on Israel...

I don't think in today's world we can stop a country from building a nuclear weapon if it is dead-set in doing so. We can thank the rogue scientist from Pakistan for that! What we need is to stop diddling around with the UN, Russia, China and piddly sanctions. We need a strong leader to come out and publicly state that the U.S. has a 'use and be destroyed' policy when it comes to nuclear weapons. Of course, that will be effective only if 1) people believe him/her and 2)the recipient is not suicidal. I doubt whether it will be effective with an apocalyptic Ahmadinejad. Israel will have to take matters into its own hands. Good luck to them!

Israel is in a place they've never been before. They have always been surrounded by enemies, but the US always could be counted on to 'have their back' With this bunch in the WH, that is no longer the case, and everyone has caught wind of that.
This is a good read along those lines.
