WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama vigorously defended his $787 billion stimulus on Wednesday, insisting it rescued Americans from the worst of the economic calamity and saving over 2 million jobs.
Meanwhile back at the White House:
"Yeah man, I saved 2 million jobs. Yep. 2 million!"
"You know what? I'm not sure I like that number. Let's make it 3.5 million!"
"Eh, 3.5 ? Nah, let's make it 4.7! Yeah, 4.7 million jobs, that's it!"
"What, you think that's little high, Rahm? Well, screw you!"
"Next week we'll announce 4.7 and that's it!"
"Why?"
"CUZ I SAID SO, THAT'S WHY!"
